It was a 1-2 in Dubai last week for the blog to add some more profit to the years tally, and the new season commences this week in South Africa with the renewed Joburg Open to be played one again at Randpark GC. but only on the Firethorn Course. 144 players tee it up which makes a welcome change from the 200+ that works have at this event in the past.
It's a fairly open field and as it's the case with all these co-sanctioned events in South Africa we have to take the chances of the home players seriously as they inevitably always perform strongly on their home soil. Just the two selections for me
