Justin Thomas has already been backed extensively since October last through to early January - will not include here on the blog but I'm quietly confident JT can go close here this week. So too do I think Rory will and its a case of "its this year or never" as his form has been arguably the best of his career of late and with Scottie not quite back to his best and Morikawa talking himself out of the right mindset for the tournament, Rory has a great chance this week! I have noted from my records however that I backed JT @ 14s in 2021, @15s in 2022, @20s in 2023 and @35s in 2024 resulting in best place 8th in 2022 when undone on the Saturday due to the weather and two missed cuts the last 2 years !
I had been keen on Patrick Reed or Bryson Dechambeau also but wanted more in their prices, but perhaps 66/1 about a former Masters Champion shouldn't be dismissed lightly.
