As per my approach for the
Czech Masters Preview, I followed up last week at The European Masters where Lucas Bjerregaard was beaten in a playoff, with the same dutched approach. I did however trade out during the event not only on the Dane but on Romain Wattel as well. So whilst the Dane became number 3 in playoff defeats for 2018, as well as number 11 in playoff defeats from 15 playoffs overall since this blog began,
the results sheet will show no returns despite having traded out for profit before the actual playoff.
I've taken the same approach this week in The Netherlands as per below with the intention to trade where available. Leaving alone throughout the tournament, the expected profit would be 25 pts should any of the 13 below win.
