British Masters 2018 - Walton Heath GC, London

A 10-player attack this week, leaving Justin Rose & Tommy Fleetwood on the sidelines despite showing up in my shortlist.

I managed to lay off Gallacher last week so looking for a third decent trading event in a row here.

This week its a total outlay of 5.20 pts looking for the 25 pts profit @ acc. odds of 5.90.

I'm personally having some extra interest in Hideto Tanihara

Dunhill Links 2018 - Kingbarns, Carnoustie and St. Andrews

After the excitement, but yet emphatic European victory at last week's Ryder Cup, it's a much toned-down affair on tour this week as the Pro-Am bandwagon rolls into Scotland for the Dunhill Links. Brooks Koepka joins his brother in the field alongside Ryder Cup team-mate, Tony Finau. They are joined by Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrell Hatton from the European team and these participants ask the first question; are these guys serious contenders here following the intensity of last week?

Brooks will be genuinely concerned about the welfare of the spectator that suffered a serious eye injury in Paris and it's hard to see him making victory a target come Sunday at St.Andrews. On the Ryder Cup "factor" alone, I think we can dismiss the four players despite Tyrell Hatton going for the hat-trick here having won it the previous two years.

As per the approach of late, I've concluded a shortlist of 18 players, of which I deemed 5 to be of value. I do fancy the chances of Chris Wood,Ross Fisher, Eddie Pepperell and Shane Lowry and their prices are not far of what I consider to be "fair".  On that assessment, I will include these into my staking plan as per below. I won't be watching it until Sunday - I can't abide watching these celebrity pro-ams when the same celebs hog our screens year in year out cracking the same jokes and making the same golf related discussions over and over.

Total 5.05 stakes - Expected Return of 30.00 pts should one of them win (25.00 pts profit).
