Just 2 bets this week, one of which was put here last month and that I've had in the book since April @ 25/1. A change in weather this week ( back to usual Irish weather) will bring the true links players back into the frame and I really feel strong about Jon Rahm's chances this week.
Tom Kim appears to be coming back into form and at the price he's added to the stable. I do expect Rory, Shane, Tommy & Tyrell Hatton to have a good week but I'll stick to just 2 this time round.
1 pt E/W DOUBLE
Nelly Korda & Johnny Keefer @ 186/1 - 6 places
(Women's US Open/ UNC Health Championship)
The 2nd Major of the year this week and it's the PGA Championship. It still irks me that it retains Major status when 20 PGA Professionals of the US qualify and "compete" for the Wanamaker. I lighten up by watching Tin Cup to ease my concerns and put myself in the mood.
Rory is the latest Grand Slam winner and arrives at Quail Hollow having won 4 times here before and like Augusta last month remains the man to beat - I'm hoping he goes in again and will roar him home over the weekend for sure
One thing of interest, and perhaps it really should be this way for any Major,is to consider the form coming into the PGA Championship as highlighted by the recent winners in their last event before lifting the Wanamaker below.
2 pts E/W Max McGreevy @ 40/1 - 6 places
This is an event I swore not to bet on once it was held at DLF GC but I ended up with a sizeable shortlist, if I can call it that. Current Form is starting to be the criteria for identifying possible winners yet this course is well a shit course in my opinion and I hate watching it.

My notes from all DPT events in this part of the world, Singapore, Malaysia etc have indicated that I reconsider betting these events where bad weather is likely to be forecasted as the event can be quite frustrating for both golfer and bettor alike! Nothing worse than a reduced 54 hole tournament as your pick comes into contention only to see if rained off and it looks like we may have an interrupted first day this week in Singapore; we definitely have a wet Thursday. However, whilst I'm no weather expert I think they might just get away with it and if they can keep on schedule for the weekend action I'll play a reduced stable with just 3 players from my final list as a precaution.
