The Masters 2025 - Augusta National, GA

 Justin Thomas has already been backed extensively since October last through to early January - will not include here on the blog but I'm quietly confident JT can go close here this week. So too do I think Rory will and its a case of "its this year or never" as his form has been arguably the best of his career of late and with Scottie not quite back to his best and Morikawa talking himself out of the right mindset for the tournament, Rory has a great chance this week!  I have noted from my records however that I backed JT @ 14s in 2021, @15s in 2022, @20s in 2023 and @35s in 2024 resulting in best place 8th in 2022 when undone on the Saturday due to the weather and two missed cuts the last 2 years ! 

I had been keen on Patrick Reed or Bryson Dechambeau also but wanted more in their prices, but perhaps 66/1 about a former Masters Champion shouldn't be dismissed lightly.

Indian Open 2025 - DLF GC, India

 This is an event I swore not to bet on once it was held at DLF GC but I ended up with a sizeable shortlist, if I can call it that. Current Form is starting to be the criteria for identifying possible winners yet this course is well a shit course in my opinion and I hate watching it.

 My sheets tell me not to get involved and I said the same thing with the Singapore Classic 7 days ago but was I confident on Haotong Li's chances and feel he could still have won only for a poor finish on the Saturday before finishing T-9th. There are a couple of players I do like this week but prices as always dictate whether to get involved or not, and given the recent poor form, in 2024 and already this year, I don't want to miss out on a player that could very well deliver. Adrien Saddier, Gavin Green, John Parry & Brandon Robinson Thompson are of a big interest this week whilst surprisingly Jeong Weon Ko piqued my research along with artin Couvra

Singapore Classic 2025 - Laguna Classic Course, Singapore

 My notes from all DPT events in this part of the world, Singapore, Malaysia etc have indicated that I reconsider betting these events where bad weather is likely to be forecasted as the event can be quite frustrating for both golfer and bettor alike! Nothing worse than a reduced 54 hole tournament as your pick comes into contention only to see if rained off and it looks like we may have an interrupted first day this week in Singapore; we definitely have a wet Thursday. However, whilst I'm no weather expert I think they might just get away with it and if they can keep on schedule for the weekend action I'll play a reduced stable with just 3 players from my final list as a precaution.
