European Masters 2029 - Crans sur Sierre, Switzerland

Rory McIroy will headline this year's European Masters in Crans on the back of collecting $15M last week at East Lake. Erica will be happy shopping, leaving hubby alone to try and go back to back here this week. But the question really is, will he? He intimated that he'd go for a few drinks following victory on Sunday night but we can be rest assured it won't have been the same kinda session that his good friend Shane Lowry would have had following his triumph at Portrush last month. It' would have been a quiet evening with a flight to catch the following day. Whether Rory is challenged enough to win this week remains to be seen, but as the price dictates here and he can be left out of the calculations. Matty Fitzpatrick goes for the hat-trick here and he warmed up nicely last week having gone so close in Gothenburg much to my frustration as he fell short by a shot. At 9/1 this week, and a better quality field to fend off, I'm happy to pass on him for the week and instead get onside with Tommy Fleetwood to return to the winners enclosure. Fatigue and rather tame course-form may go against him here but he has been playing quite well in the US of late and he may just be motivated to produce a win back on the European Tour. Tommy does however have two TOP-10s here (2014 & 2013) and hes a formidable player these days. If he's up for it, he can compete with anyone here and he's chanced at a nice 15.00 for the win.

I've noticed Alexander Bjork making steady progress of late and hes taken @ 61.00 (7 places) to continue the recent return to form at a course he has played well on the last two years
